Educational Philosophy - (What is Physical Education to you)

Physical Education is one of the most important core subjects in K-12 because it focuses on learning life long activities to keep everyone activity throughout their life. Many people believe that physical education is not as important as other subject compare such as Math, English, or Science, but I believe it is as important like all the other subjects. Physical education to me means fun, activity movement, health, performance, sports and creativity. It is impossible just to sum up in one word or phrase, because it involves many different things. Physical Education has been the fundamental and guidance of my life. It help strive to be physical fit and best soccer player and track runner as I can be. It help me build confidence with in myself. Physical Education is much more then fitness and fun, It helps individuals regardless of their ability and gender to be the best person they can be. Physical Education gives people the determination, confidence, joy, important of being fit, and self-development/awareness of the body. Physical Education means motivation, inspiration, building confidences and reaching goals.

Teaching Philosophy - (What kind of Teacher are you)

I like to think of myself as a teacher who allows for an easy learning atmosphere. I want to be a teacher who is very positive, can see the best in all the students, strive to inspire students to be their best and can succeed in everything they do. I want my classroom to be a wonderful space for learning, when my students exit the classroom i want to not only students grasp the subject, but to know and have knowledge to the material where they are to apply in their own life. I want to be available to all my students and provide them with any support they need. I want to be a teacher who is committed to the educational learning of the students and establish fair, respectful, supportive and constructive relationship with the students. I want my students to learn and demonstrate a positive learning behavior inside and outside the classroom. Mostly importantly i want to be a teacher who is both respected by teachers, school, and students.

Coaching Philosophy -
(What kind of Coach are you)

I would like to fun, outgoing, role model, and respected coach. Growing up I have had many different types of coaches and each of them taught me a lesson of what kind of coach I want to be. I want to be a coach who is supportive to his athletes and positive influence inside and outside the field. As a supportive coach, I can becomes a role model for the whole team, not just one individual. I would listen to the players and allows them to have a say on team goals, short term and long term. I will make practice a fun and relaxing , while still allowing it to be competitive. As a Coach I want my athletes to have a good strong self image of their self and be a role models for other students. I want to teach the important of teamwork that each players has the key to be a successful team. That win is important, but not as important as working as team, respecting one another and striving to be the best. A coach who is caring, loving, and can be hard on this athletes when need to be.
